Mike West.....
was born and raised in Pueblo, CO. His Interest in horses started early in life. He has trained for large cutting horse and breeding facilities in Colorado and Oklahoma. His experience with colts has driven him to begin his own training program, with his main goal being to give young horses the best start possible. He also enjoys bringing older horses "back to the basics". His ownership and love of his training facility and practices shows in his results. Mike never skips steps or rushes a horses training. From trail riding to cutting, Mike believes a solid foundation is the best and most important training a horse can get.
Ashley West.....
was born and raised in OK. As a young teen, she worked for Read Ranch in Chandler OK , caring for and riding the dude string horses. She was involved in all the aspects of a working horses day to day needs. She worked with horses for 3 years before joining the US Navy. After her time in the military, Ashley decided that caring for and riding horses would be her lifes work. Ashley spent an additional 2 years working and learning with local horse trainers and breeders before she teamed with Mike to build a solid care/training program for the horses that come to WestWay. It is her passion to make sure that your horses recieve the best care and training possible. Ashley is currently in the process of aquiring her "Centered Riding" instructors certification.

is the hard work of Ashley & Mike West (and friends, you know who you are!). Built by us, our small facility, is the daily remider of what you can accomplish, when you put your heart into something. We thank God every day for the opportunity to care for your horses and this property. We are thankful for our blessings and look forward to a long future in the business of the horse. There is no other business, to us.
Jacob Oregel .....
is our hard-working barn hand here at WestWay Training Facility. Jacob takes very good care of our facility and works so hard to make sure the stalls and waters are very clean. Jacob is learning to ride and may someday choose a career in the equine industry. We are so thankful to have him here.
