WestWay Training Facility is a small, professional horse training facility. We specialize in colt starting, ranch sorting horses and tuning up/legging up horses of all ages. We also offer riding lessons and ranch sorting lessons (to training customers). Occasionally we hand select and train horses that we show and/or sell.
We know your money is hard-earned and needs to be well spent when it comes to training your horses. We keep the number of horses in training low, so your horse gets the time it needs and deserves. We incorporate many of todays "natural" horsemanship techniques and some good old fashioned horsemanship into our training program. We focus on getting horses soft in the face, flexing well, moving off the leg, balanced, stopping quick/correct and confident under saddle. We also work with owners to become proactive riders, it is our belief that your horse will never be any more consistent than you are. We teach proper balance, clear leg/rein cues and proactive/consistent riding. We also believe and teach that horses do NOT need a best friend or a mother, they need a qualified and caring leader to really become great horses. We can help teach you to be that leader and your horse will LOVE you for it.

WestWay is happy to welcome our newest addition. Our mare Freckles Golden Mist foaled at 5am on 4/9/11. She has produced a beautiful palomino stud colt with a blaze face and two rear stockings! Couldn't have asked for more! He is by Playboy Elan.
WestWay is happy to announce a new training option at our facility. We now offer a $400/month 3 day tune-up/fitting program.
